When a skin cell because damaged by the sun it no longer functions properly and no longer holds onto water to keep your skin hydrated. When you have and IPL skin treatment it causes your skin to shed the sun damage and replace those cells with healthy functioning cells. This is important for not only your face, neck, and chest, but arms hands and shoulders as well.

WHO SHOULD GET IT?

Almost everyone needs this treatment every year. However, it is less effective on dark skinned people. Also, it should be used with caution on people with a history or melasma.

PROPER TREATMENTS?

It typically takes about 3-6 treatments for ideal results.

THE EXPERIENCE

I was very frustrated with my skin. I have redness from rosacea and tiny little brown spots everywhere. I am from Michigan and so I never really worried about sunscreen. When I moved to California, as you can imagine, I was at the beach all the time! It was heaven. However, in just a few short years I had aged prematurely. I did an initial series of five IPL’s at about 2-3 weeks apart and my skin literally transformed! I did also change my skincare products from department store junk to the good stuff too! So, I am sure that helped too. Now I do one or two IPL’s every year and at almost 50 years old my skin is better today than it was when I was 35!
